assessment
Kate provides assessments that may assist children and adolescents with behavioural, emotional and learning difficulties or to identify giftedness.
If you have concerns about your child’s cognitive development or believe your child to be gifted, an assessment may provide some insight into your child’s strengths and struggles, and better inform early intervention. Educational and learning assessments may also be beneficial for school learning plans, identification of learning difficulties and/or disability support planning.
If you have concerns for your child with issues relating to attention, focus, concentration or hyperactivity, an assessment regarding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can be provided.

therapy
The main aim of therapy is to help you achieve your goals. Psychologists are experts in human behaviour, thoughts and feelings, and people choose to see a psychologist for many different reasons. The main reason is when we want something to be different in our lives. Seeing a psychologist can help you learn new ways to problem solve, cope with stressful events or thoughts, and overcome any difficulties you and/or your child may be facing.
Using evidence-based treatment, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Kate provides a respectful and confidential space to explore the issues you and/or your child may be having. In addition, play, fun and laughter are encouraged in an environment of acceptance and curiosity.
